The Belfry at Yarcombe, Boutique Rooms and Group Event Dining near Honiton, is built mainly of flint cob, with stone mullioned windows set with leaded, stained windows.
Originally the village school, The Belfry near Honiton was built in the late 1860s under instruction of Sir Francis Elliot-Drake, Squire of the Parish.
The school closed in 1965 and was converted to its current internal layout in 1972 with the addition of an upper floor, dormer windows in the roof and the partition of the interior space into the various bedrooms.
