INVITATION to Green Energy Conference ... 11 September 2010

The Blackdown Hills AONB warmly invites members of the BHBA to attend a conference on green energy in September.

The programme will feature speakers representing a variety of local case studies. There will also be expert presentations on the pros and cons of different technologies, and the specific opportunities and restraints created by the landscape of the Blackdown Hills.
It is hoped that the conference will stimulate plenty of discussion and ideas, and will be the first step towards a co-ordinated approach to renewable energy within the AONB.
‘Green energy for a living landscape' takes place on September 11 2010 at Stockland Village Hall near Honiton.

BHBA members are cordially invited to our AGM and Annual Dinner at Lakeview Manor. Our guest speaker this year will be Lord Lieutenant Eric Dancer. Our AGM is at 6.30pm. Attendees are welcome to bring pull ups and literature to promote their business. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak for 2 minutes about their business at the end of the dinner. We are particularly interested to hear about new developments in your businesses and new opportunities for business in the area.
