BHBA AGM and Evening Meeting
September 19 @ 19:00 - 21:30£16 – £20
On Wednesday 19th September we are hosting an evening meeting at Coldharbour Mill with short AGM. The evening will include a behind the scenes tour of the Mill, who are themselves longstanding members of the Blackdown Hills Business Association, and a BBQ and soft drink (either hot or cold) served by Brazier Coffee Roasters at their new on-site coffee shop, this really will be an event not to be missed.
Coldharbour Mill is one of the oldest woollen mills in the UK, having been in continuous production since 1797. Originally owned by world-renowned textile producers Fox Brothers, the Mill took fleece from all over the world and transformed it into yarn, cloth and textiles. Today the rich heritage lives on as one of the finest working wool museums where visitors are not just able to relive the sights and sounds of the industrial revolution but also see crafts men and women making traditional textiles, beautiful knitting yarn and hand woven rugs.
Brazier Coffee Roasters roast their own coffee at their Tonedale Mill base in Wellington, using coffee beans from specially selected high altitude coffee from hard to reach micro-lots.
Brazier Burger served with thick cut bacon, fried egg, baby spinach, pesto and our famous chilli jam on a toasted brioche bun.
Sweetcorn fritters- fritter stacks, tomato avocado salsa, on homemade refined black beans (Vegetarian)
Food choices must be selected at the time of booking.
Please note due to pre-ordering food, tickets will be available to purchase until Friday 14th September only.
